Claire Wheeler, Green Party Candidate for the South East Inner City, welcomes the announcement that the Whitefriar/Aungier Area Community Council (WAACC) is to receive over €18,000 in government funding.

“John Gormley and I have been fighting to ensure that WAACC gets the funds it needs to continue its excellent work.  Our priority is to ensure that vulnerable communities are not forgotten in tough times.

“This decision demonstrates the benefit of having a local Green representative working with Government on behalf of local communities.”
